A selection of items by some of the groups that competed in this competion are discussed .

After a short hiatus, Ngā Taonga returns to our regularly scheduled programming. We go back in time to 1972 to the first Polynesian Festival to listen to the style of kapahaka of the time and to witness the seeds planted then that have since borne fruit in today.
